Specifications
T10A is a remarkably compact and light weight bi-amped speaker system, capable of very high undistorted sound pressure (127 dB SPL).
It's frequency and phase responses are exceptionally linear, thus guaranteeing an exceptionally precise and detailed acoustic image. The great flexibility of use is further enhanced by the cabinet's trapezoidal shape, which allows for vertical or horizontal placement even in restricted spaces.
Ideal for a very wide range of applications both indoor and outdoor, for live music performances, theatre, conferences, public address, or as a stage monitor.
The custom made components operate in complete synergy with the dedicated electronic circuitry:
- 10" neodymium magnet woofer (2,5" voice coil) for the bass section.
- for the mid-high section it utilizes 1" compression driver (with 2" voice coil) coupled with a constant directivity horn which may be rotated 90° for maintaining optimal coverage (90°H x 70°V) when the speaker system is arranged horizontally.
The no-compromise electronics is based on:
- 2 built-in MosFet class AB power amplifiers with dedicated active processors, featuring independent time constants and operating thresholds that are sensitive to line voltage, limiting any excessive voice coil movement while also drastically diminishing the effects of "power compression" under the most demanding operating conditions. Unimpeded operation is guaranteed even when the system is subjected to extreme line voltage excursions.
Output power:
200 continuos (270 W peak) for low frequencies
100 W continuos (120 W peak) for high frequencies
- Active cross-over filter (24 dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley, 1200 Hz) guaranteeing phase coherency and perfect addition of acoustic emissions in the crossover region.
- "soft-start" circuit to reduce the peak current drain at switch-on.
The rear panel houses easy to use controls and connectors, allowing for fast, setup and installation:
- balanced input (using a Neutrik Combo® combined jack-XLR connector).
- balanced XLR output (LINK) allowing parallel connection of other active speaker systems;
- Master volume and high frequency volume controls.
T10A is built to last and to stand up to the rigors of the road: the cabinet is built in birch multiply finished with polyurethane paint; the protective grille is made with heavy-duty steel. A strong carrying handle and the support stand adapter allow for a simple and hassle-free installation
In the applications requiring an extension of the low frequency response
T10A combines perfectly with the Montarbo active subwoofers 112SA, 119SA, SW540 and 215SA all with built-in stereo electronic crossover.
