The B4 software organ broke new ground when it was released in 2000 and was an instant success. It reproduces the sound of the legendary B3 and its rotary speaker cabinet with unmatched accuracy. Its expressiveness and immediate playability continues to amaze even the most experienced organ players. The B4 II raises the bar considerably, generating a much wider sonic range and a far richer, even more authentic sound.

Through The Tube

The latest version of this award-winning virtual organ sees the addition of many extra components. A tube amplifier and a selection of classic speaker cabinets offer you greater freedom of expression. Spring and studio reverb modules lend the sound more depth and atmosphere. From silky soft to relentlessly rockin', the sound is stunningly precise and more versatile than ever before.

Attention To Detail

From the drawbars, the vibrato and chorus to the tube distortion and rotary speakers, the B4 II delivers the sound of the original in incredible detail. The cross-talk between the tonewheels is adjustable and 11 additional tonewheel sets are also included: 'Cosmetically age' the B4 II or transform it into a Farfisa, a Vox Continental or an Indian Harmonium.

The B4 II is instantly playable. Its convenient Preset Manager coupled with a large selection of presets offer a wide range of styles. The new bass pedal legato and string bass features make using the foot pedals easy: a walking bass has never been simpler. Let The Tonewheel Turn

The included tonewheel sets vastly expand the B4 II's sonic potential. Adjust the age of your B4 II: From factory-fresh to old and worn after years on stage - the choice is yours. Or turn the B4 II into a completely different organ altogether: the Farfisa, Vox Continental and Indian Harmonium are all included.

Individual and as bundle with the B4D Controller

B4 II is available individually or as an attractive bundle with the B4D drawbar controller.
In combination with the B4D drawbar controller the B4 II offers maximum playability and smoothest operation on stage, at home, or in the studio.
In loving detail Native Instruments has made the most popular and authentic software emulation ever even better and more versatile. This major B4 update offers a wide range of new sonic possibilities, an even more authentic sound, many new functions as well as significant improvements. Hence, the B4 II sounds even better, deeply enhancing B4's sonic range – and is even easier to use.

Warm Tubes

A tube amplifier modelled on the original rotary speaker amp has been added to the B4 II. The Dynamic Tube Response technology on which it relies delivers an organic, characteristic sound.
The selection of additional classic speakers vastly extends the B4 II's sonic range: from gospel to rock and from jazz to electronica – the whole spectrum is covered.

Preset Manager

Using B4 II presets has now become much easier and more comfortable: The new preset manager delivers a comprehensive view of all ten preset banks including a total of 120 presets. This is where presets are loaded, saved, renamed and re-sorted via drag&drop.
The MIDI file player plays back MIDI files to select an appropriate preset.

Reverb units

B4 II offers 2 integrated high-quality reverb units: A studio reverb and a vintage spring reverb for creating smooth room acoustics. Both effects are based on NI's high-end effects algorithms delivering an extremely authentic sound.

Rotating Speaker Dual Mode

"Dual Mode" allows the use of two rotating speaker cabinets simultaneously, generating an especially wide and rich sound.

Tonewheel Leakage

The "Leakage" knob allows the adjustment of electric leakage between the tonewheels, generating a clean or dirty sound.

Rotator Brake

BRAKE" switch to stop the rotating speakers abruptly

Amp and speaker adjustment

3 additional knobs for the amp and speaker mikes: bass, treble and air.

Velocity sensitivity

The original B3 is not velocity sensitive. With the B4, however, you can add variable velocity sensitivity by turning the Velocity knob. This is a nice feature to play accentuated riffs and can greatly enhance your organ voice.

Bass Pedal Legato Mode

Bass Pedal Legato Mode with sustain knob for playing soft, sustained bass tones. In String mode it acts like a plucked bass string, sloping the volume to zero after a key is pressed. In Organ mode the volume is held at full volume for the complete hold phase.

Advanced MIDI control

The B4 II now offers free assignment of MIDI automation, includes "MIDI Learn" for easy assignment of MIDI controllers and provides integrated MIDI templates for many MIDI controllers, making it easy to use B4 II with the NI B4D or third party hardware.
