The seamless integration of an innovative USB-powered hardware interface and intuitive Pro Tools LE™ software offered an easy, affordable way to access the power and flexibility of the industry-standard Pro Tools® platform.

Mbox 2™ is a next-generation USB-powered audio/MIDI production system that builds on the performance and simplicity of the original Mbox. Mbox 2 combines pristine sound and a wide range of connection options (including analog, digital, and MIDI) for professional performance in an incredibly compact package.

Along with its flexible hardware interface, Mbox 2 includes the easy-to-use, award-winning Digidesign Pro Tools LE software, which offers many of the same features that top studios rely on to record, edit, mix, and master commercial albums and produce sound for blockbuster films. In addition, Mbox 2 comes with the Pro Tools Ignition Pack™ — an impressive collection of powerful plug-ins, creative applications, and additional tools to help you professionally produce and promote your music. With the addition of the Pro Tools Ignition Pack, Mbox 2 includes more than 50 plug-ins and instruments.

MIDI In/Out
Mbox 2 features MIDI in and out ports for easy integration of MIDI controllers, hardware synthesizers and samplers, and virtual instruments.

Multiple Inputs
Mbox 2 lets you to use two analog inputs and two channels of S/PDIF digital input at the same time to achieve four simultaneous channels of audio input.

Macro Studio
With the massive production power of Pro Tools LE software plus the included Pro Tools Ignition Pack, Mbox 2 can be the foundation for a comprehensive, macro studio.
