The RP810 by GEM features several exciting enhancements over previous models. With double the memory of earlier models, additional acoustic piano sounds have been added to the existing Steinway® and Fazioli® grand piano presets.

Improvements have also been made to the physical models running in the DRAKE processor including the new “Enhanced F.A.D.E.” physical model that accurately simulates the nuances and behaviour of an acoustic piano in high fidelity. 16 presets (pcm stereo/mono samples and physical modelling sounds) each having their own variation offers a great selection of sound choices. A dual stereo effects processor is included to further enhance the sound if desired. A new 88 note Graded Hammer Action keyboard has been implemented guaranteeing a very realistic touch and a high level of expressive control. The RP810 is housed in new elegant cabinet design available in a high polish ebony or rosewood finish.

The on-board 2 track, 20.000 event recorder offers the player the ability to record a performance and then play back that performance for enjoyment or to help in the learning process. An internal music library containing some of the world’s most famous piano pieces provides tremendous educational benefits.

The music library allows you to study a piece of music, playing each part separately, at a speed you’re comfortable with. Packaged with the piano is a music book containing all the pieces in the music library.
The sound is heard through a 40W + 40W stereo amplification system providing a clear and powerful listening experience.
