L' HPi-6 Roland nasce con l'intento di rendere possibile a tutti i livelli l'utilizzo di un pianoforte digitale interattivo dotato della funzione DigiScore®. Con il suo motore sonoro a 128 voci e la tastiera Progressive Hammer Action l' HPi-6 è già di per sé un eccellente pianoforte digitale adatto allo studio e al divertimento. Oltre a questo, altre funzioni improntate all'ambito didattico lo rendono davvero unico. Innanzitutto le funzioni "Visual Lesson", rese possibili dalla presenza nel leggio di un display a colori formato 320X240 per la visualizzazione elettronica degli spartiti, rendono l' HPi-6 lo strumento ideale per lo studente e l'insegnante di musica che vogliano sfruttare questa nuova tecnologia per l'apprendimento musicale. Inoltre l'innovativa funzione "Twin Piano" consente la divisione della tastiera del pianoforte per permettere l'esecuzione simultanea di insegnante ed allievo.
