Modulo e Tastiera
Il RADIAS è un sintetizzatore orginalissimo composto da due unità fondamentali, una tastiera ( RD-KB) e un modulo di generazione sonora (RADIAS R). Il supporto di fissaggio di entrambe le unità garantisce la possibilità di posizionare il modulo in maniera versatile permettendo anche il fissaggio di un computer laptop nella struttura. Lo strumento è facile da usare e risponde prontamente a qualsiasi comando.

Sintesi MPT.
RADIAS si avvale di una innovativa tecnica di sintesi MPT (Multiple Modeling Technology) che comprende: la modellazione analogica, campioni PCM waves & drum kits, la sintesi wave shaping, la VPM (Virtual Phase Modulation).
Con l’assenza di aliasing e un incredible risonanza nei filtri, RADIAS, erede del MS 2000B, segna un enorme salto avanti nel campo della sintesi analogica dove ogni comparazione, spece con i software synth, lo evidenziano come superiore a qualsiasi prodotto concorrente.
Ovviamente Korg ha investito molta ricerca per aggiungere anche altri tipi di sintesi per la produzione di sonorità innovative avvolgenti e moderne. 24-note di polifonia e 4 Timbri per Program forniscono infatti enormi possibilità di creazione sonora. La potente architettura di sintesi include due filtri multimodo, la modulazione estensiva il processamento di segnale audio esterno e altro.
Il Vocoder con l’esclusiva funzione Formant Motion permette la creazione di timbriche dall’effetto “parlante” mentre 3 Modulatori,2 Step Sequencers ed un Arpeggiatore aggiungono ritmi, fraseggi melodici e movimento al suono.
