With the Melodyne Sound Library (MSL) the voice, you are bringing a crack choir to your studio. On Vol. 1, the choir sings phrases with lyrics such as "listen to the groove", "keep me movin' on", "liftin' me higher", "party everybody", "you make me wanna dance", "universal love", "feel so high", "when will you stop playing" and many more. In Vol. 2, in contrast, you will find non-verbal lines, from the straightforward to the way-out, and from simple "Ah"s, "Oh"s and "Schupdhuah"s to complex vocal lines.

 The MSL titles "the voice Vol. 1" and "the voice Vol. 2" offer around 300 first-class samples each: two- to eight-bar choral phrases specially conceived for use with Melodyne technology, performed to the highest musical standards, and painstakingly optimized for use within Melodyne – so you can begin work right away!

 Each phrase has been sung by one male and one female vocalist a total of eight times, so the eight separate recordings can be combined to create a realistic choral sound. Thanks to Melodyne technology, you can take each voice in the choir in turn and assign to it a different melodic line. The harmonies and voice leading can be freely determined as well as the phrasing and tempo of the music.

 All samples have been recorded without effects or dynamic processing to leave complete freedom for the further editing process and to satisfy highest demands in professional production environments.

 When navigating through the samples with Melodyne's Melody Manager, you do not see audio waveforms only, but also the notes of the material. Insert entire recordings, parts thereof or merely individual notes into your arrangements very elegantly using Drag 'n' Drop. If desired, Melodyne makes everything match.

The sounds of MSL the voice are identical with those of the Ueberschall Liquid Instrument "The Voice". The main singers Nicki McCoy, Dennis Legree and Elaine Thomas have sung hundreds of brilliant phrases, produced and professionally recorded by Danya Vodovoz and Uwe Kinast.
