Fender has developed a process called "Cybernetic Amp Design" to create the Cyber-Twin Amp. The Cyber Twin Head has 130 Watts (2 x 65 watts). The two 12AX7 preamp tubes are used to create the wide variety of amp sound emulations. The Cyber-Twin is not a DSP amp modeler. What it has is a number of analog switches that are used to re-route the guitar signal into various configurations. Each configuration has a different sound. So what you end up with is a not a Digital Emulation but an analog equivalent. This means that the amp responds more accurately than the modeler amps. The guitar signal is actually travelling through an analog component. There is a Digital Signal Processor in the Fender Cyber-Twin amp. It's used to re-assemble and route the signal to the preamp output. By turning the eq or preamp knobs do what they do on the other Fender tube amps. There are 35 classic fender presets and combinations built in to the amp. You obviously get the classic fender sounds: Tweed Deluxe, Vibro-Kind, Twin Reverb, Super Twin, Vibrolux, etc... There are also 85 new presets that fender has added, British Stack, Marshall. You can transfer and save your sound using MIDI. You can also control the onboard digital effects using MIDI. You can also create your presets and really develop your own sound which is a must if you want to really stand out.
