Modern tuners have to cope with today’s enormous density of stations, and at the same time they must feature good reception characteristics and best possible channel separation, as well as the capability of working with cable signals. For this reason the T 1210 R features a high-performance front end with tunable circuits and a Dual-Gate MOSFET input stage. The digital quartz PLL circuit guarantees perfectly accurate tuning at all times, which is a pre-requisite for optimum sound quality. The IF amplifier features high-quality filters and switchable bandwidth in order to achieve best possible reception characteristics.
 
 
We at T+A have stressed the importance of the high-current output stage in this design. The low output impedance of 50 Ohm preserves the full sound quality when cable or badly matched amplifiers are connected to the unit.
 

Connection elements
 
FM-ANT
 The T 1210 R is fitted with a 75 Ohm antenna input labelled FM ANT, which is designed to match a standard domestic antenna and cable input. For first-class reception quality a high-performance antenna system is indispensable.
 
OUTPUT
 The tuner output supplies a constant output signal. It is designed for connection to a pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier with volume control.
 
RC-IN
 Input socket for the E 2000 remote control receiver.
 
RLink
 Control output – preparation to control futur "R"-system components with extendend functions. A software update may be necessary.
